"Woman of the Year" Ceremony

Kilah, a Cement Mason Finisher, became the first "Woman of the Year" in the construction trades, sponsored by Building Advantage of Wisconsin. She is pictured with Building Advantage President, Ken Kraemer and Marketing Director, Erika Duelge. Kilah was recommended by her Business Manager of Local 599, Terry Ullsperger, pictured with Kilah and Mr. Kraemer. There were two runner ups, Danielle, a Laborer, and Jennifer, an Iron Worker. The Women in Trades Board was asked to be a partner in the award process and are pictured with Danielle and Kilah. Unfortunately, Jennifer was not able to be with us for the evening.

In addition, Mr. Poull, the featured speaker for our meeting, is pictured talking to the group about a Supervisory Training program he is offering for women. If a tradeswoman is interested in supervision, please go to the Contact Us page, and we will make contact with more details.
